Recipes for homemade insecticide for plants

Here are some recipes of insecticides that will be very useful to eliminate, combat and control the presence of pests in your orchard and garden.

Mashed Ortigas

It serves to eliminate aphids and fertilizer.

  • 100 grams of nettle
  • 10 liters of water
  • Metal container

Placed inside the container nettle and water. Let stand about 3 or 4 days and is ready for use.

Garlic solution

Eliminates aphids and ants

  • Garlic cloves
  • Water
  • Pot or pan

Place several cloves of garlic in a pot with water and let stand for a whole day. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes. Cool and apply where necessary.

Alcohol garlic

Eliminates mites, aphids and worms

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 500 cc of fine alcohol
  • 500 cc of water

Place all ingredients in blender and blend for about 2 or 3 minutes.

To keep it in good condition, placed in a jar with a lid in the refrigerator.

Onion peel solution

  • 1000 cc of hot water

Prepared baking powder

Combat aphids, mealy bug and powdery mildew.

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1000 cc of water
  • 1 tablespoon grated white soap

Mix all ingredients and use every 7 days for 3 months.

Lavender solution

Removes and repels ants

  • 300 grams of lavender leaves (fresh)
  • 1000 cc of water

Prepare an infusion with two ingredients and spray on the affected plants.

Solution garlic and oil

Controls worms, caterpillars and white flies

    90 grams of crushed or chopped garlic

  • 2 tablespoons of mineral oil
  • 500 cc of water
  • 1 tablespoon white grated or powdered soap.

Marinate with garlic oil for one day, then add water, soap, mix well and use.

Sage solution

Eliminates butterfly larvae.

  • 2 tablespoons chopped sage leaves or crushed
  • 1000 cc of water

Place both ingredients together and let stand 15 minutes, filter and use.

Solution horse tail

Eliminates fungi of roses.

  • Pour 250 grams of horse
  • 1000 cc of water

Marinate the two ingredients together for a whole day and then apply spray on the whole plant.
